Best looking game so far? I don’t think so, at least not during the in-game engine. Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 look better in-game. Maybe the best looking on the 360? Even then Resident Evil 5/ Dead space look better. I was honestly disappointed by in-game graphics. CGI bits are lovely though.

wow this is a terrible review, the dude pronounces things wrong. Its imaginative for them to change the composer every now and again, nobuo(sp?) doesn’t need to do every FF soundtrack in order for the soundtrack to be good i find what this guy said about that extremely stupid.

@Maiku2010 without the fun.

10. Out of over 9000.

I think the reviewer played it on the 360, because the detail and resolution on the ps3 is greater then the 360’s, also the 360’s version cant hold a steady frame rate (i,e laggy). I think this game deserves a 9.

@Nikolai2099 true even when the game is 3 discs on the 360 it still wasnt as good as i expected, little too linear. Luckily i got it for ps3.

oh boy…I like the review. You conplian about the music, well since the composer has changed, that’s sometimes needed brings fresh air into a series; adds little tweaks here and there. RPGS were originally Linear I like it. Shops suit the game due to there ‘on the run’ and granted everything is maintained by the fal’ce. Everything is great.

Fair review, Only 1 problem with it….. When this guy talked about the camera controls I understood what he was talking about, but I guess he didn’t know about the R3 (PS3) button. The camera didn’t move as fast as I wanted it to (like the review said) but then I just started using the R3 button, no problem.

i only have 12 and 13 but i really enjoyed the open scenery from 12. Plus if you get the game guide you get a whole lot more out of the game (i only used it for side quests) Good vid

In my opinion this is the worst JRPG I’ve played in a long time. I don’t believe it should even be considered a JRPG, as it leaves out most all elements which make a JRPG. As a game it also fails. The battle system(which is the main part of the game) takes way way way to long to open up.Square Enix has taken one of my favorite franchises and completly ruined it(WTF were they thinking when they desighned this game).

@lilrizq square/enix didnt make lost odessy hence why it is better than anything after FF10 when the creator of the brand distance himself from this money grubing shit they been putting out since X2

Fair review I guess. The music is not too bad. I’m more worried about how linear the game is, and how little space for exploration there is. I agree with the lack of stores as something detrimental to the game. Other than the interaction between the main characters and a few others, there is very little interaction.
Not a bad game, but not the best in the FF franchise. I enjoyed it, but it can definitely be much better. I would have probably given it a 7.5 or so. Lacks depth.

@Nikolai2099
Oh so suddenly his absence automatically renders this game as pathetic and insignificant? It makes this game the worst entry ever and is automatically separate from the rest of the games? Seriously. I’m a nostalgic FF gamer and I applaud the change in author for music. Uematsu was getting seriously stale (I’m sorry, but after X, he isn’t the same) and this game’s music, though inappropriate at times is pretty good. Comments like yours make me nauseous, no offense.

@Nikolai2099 yup, i think your right. Microsoft arent always the best are they. -__-
