Jamorama does not reveal the secret to learning the guitar! You may think that’s a strange opening to a review but I believe it is important for anyone to know that there is no secret to learning the guitar, and I’m not just saying that aimed at Jamorama. Repeated practice is the only way anyone learns the guitar so if you think you’ll be riffing like slash in just a few days forget it, learning the guitar is something that takes time.
Now that I’ve got that off of my chest I guess I should give you my opinion on the Jamorama course. Well despite what you may have thought I was going to say after my initial tirade I’m probably going to surprise you by saying I actually like the course and think that it is a very good option for anyone looking to learn to play the guitar.
Of course if you can afford it and you have a schedule that allows for it, then you really should find a good guitar tutor in your local area as no course anywhere can provide the same level of tutoring that a personal teacher can give. The reason for this is that they can see first hand where you are going wrong when you make mistakes, no DVD or web based tutorial can.
If however you cannot afford a personal tutor or simply have to fit in learning the guitar when you get the time then Jamorama is definitely a course than can help you. The information it contains is very good and easy to follow plus the videos are also of a high quality level.
I should also give a quick mention to the bonuses included. As good as they are ( and they are good ) it should be noted that they are mostly things that can be found freely available if you search the internet for them. So if you don’t fancy the Jamorama course but are interested in any of the bonuses just take look around.
All in all Jamorama is a solid package for beginners and will even be useful to many intermediate level players and it certainly provides value for money. Just don’t get me started on the salespage.
